8/4/08--accepted teams and balance due of fees will be listed on the left toolbar under Fall 08 information. These balance due of fees have been adjusted based on the number of teams in your bracket. The breakdown is as follows for each team:

U13-$100 bond, $175 league fees, $80 per game X11 games=$1155

U14 and up-$100 bond, $175 league fees, $85 per game x11 games=$1210

Please check your bracket for the balance due before sending in the balance of team fees. Balance of fees is due no later than 8/30. When sending in fees, please note on check age group, ex U17G, and team name.

Also, I have noted that in Affinity, the contact person for the team is different that the name turned in at the 6/29 coaches meeting. I send e-mails to the person listed as the contact based on the EDS2 application form, please make sure that person distributes the information.

As of 8/1 your team should be activated in Affinity. The person listed as the coach of record MUST have a coaches license on record with STYSA to activate the team. Please check in Affinity if your team has been activated. Log-ins and passwords to Affinity are available from your club.

If your team is having problems with getting activated due to coaching licenses, outstanding discipline, please contact your CLUB registrar.

8/1/08-As of 8/1 there is NO movement of players between S2 teams. Teams may add players, all STYSA transfer/release rules apply starting today.

The U18 and U19 age groups will be combined and that the teams that qualified as U18 would be allowed to add U19 players to their roster and still be accepted. Teams that are going to add U19 players to their roster will have to be declared U19 teams and will still have to keep their U18 core.

s that will be adding U19 players need to be declared as U19 teams in order to add them. Also, in order to be qualified for U18 National Cup, in the spring, the U19 players would have to request to be released from these teams and supply STYSA with the appropriate signed documents.

EDS2 Eastern District Gaming League Format for Fall 2008

There will be no EDS2 U12 play this Fall. U12 8v8 or 11v11 teams must play in the Eastern District Gaming League if they plan to qualify for U13 EDDOA/EDS2 Qualifying in Fall 2009. U11’s and U12’s will pay fees directly to EDDOA, check www.eddoa.org for information.

All S2 teams U13 and up will register with their home association as in years past. The Silver and Bronze Brackets have been eliminated for Fall 2008. EDS2 U13 and above will play a round/12 team bracket (11 games). The top two teams in EDS2 will represent EDS2 at STYSA Fall Championships and promote to EDDOA Division I for Fall 2009. The bottom two teams from EDDOA Division I Competitive Flight will relegate to EDS2 for Fall 2009. The bottom three teams in EDS2 will relegate to Division II for Fall 2009. After league play and promotion/relegation the Fall 2009 seeding will determine seeding for Spring 2009 Cup play (USYSNC, Presidents Cup, and Directors Cup).

As openings are available in EDS2 for Fall 2009; Eastern District Fall 2008 Championship Division II teams #1-4 will be promoted. Any additional openings will be filled by the EDS2 Committee from applications submitted for Fall 2009 based on Eastern District Standings from Fall 2008.

Roster freeze date is August 1^st 2008, your roster in Affinity as of that date will be your Fall roster. STYSA transfer/release rules apply starting August 1^st.

There will be no game reschedules for Fall league play.
