SPRING CUP SCHEDULES
Schedules have been posted followed by the complete schedule by Sunday, April 13th. If for some reason you are able to see games past this weekend don't count on them being final...I will post a notice here informing you when they are.

We are very tight on the number of games per day being played versus the number of fields available to us, so there is not much room for changes.

President Cup and Directors Cup teams that have multiple brackets will play round robin within their brackets.  President's Cup advance to Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final Games where appropriate and Director's Cup will advance to Semi Final and Final Games where appropriate. These games will be posted shortly after the Final Schedules are posted.

STYSA Cup Rules are being used in all Spring Cup games, so be aware that the Scoring of the games are on a 10pt system ( Win = 6pts - Tie = 3pts - 1pt for each Goal Max of 3 goals to be used in tie-breaker) and 1pt for a shut-out). All Rules for Spring Cups can be found on STYSA's website( www.stxsoccer.org).

I will place links here to all of the Spring Cup Schedules as soon as they are posted, so those of you that see the schedules before these links are posted, don't count on the being final for this weekend.

Special Note: If you don't receive your player card by this weekend, the field coordinators will be instructed to let you play but to note on the game report that the player did not have a player pass. No players will be allowed to play that are not listed on the game report.

USYSNC, President’s Cup, Director’s Cup

The final roster deadline for all teams entered in US Youth Soccer National Championships, President’s Cup and Directors Cup in Eastern District is 11:59 pm on April 6th. All new players must be registered in Affinity and rostered to the appropriate team. Releases and transfers must also be processed prior to the stated deadline.

Please keep in mind that the registration program is linked to the tournament module for the purpose of Cup play. The roster deadline has been defined in the configuration of each of these Cup competitions. When game cards are printed for any Cup game, they will not include any players who have been added or transferred onto a team after the date defined in the Cup configuration. A change made to a roster on April 7th will be visible to the registrar and will appear on a roster printed from the registration area but it won’t be valid on anything related to Cup play such as a game card.

Copies of all signed releases of players not returning to a team and all transfer forms for players moving onto the team should be sent to the State Office immediately after the final roster deadline. These can be sent by the coach, manager, Association Registrar or Club Registrar. It will be helpful in identifying the team if a copy of the roster is attached to any forms being sent. A signature on the roster is not required. If teams are sending in their paperwork, please ask them to send everything in one packet. There are more than 500 teams entered in these three competitions in Eastern District and an equal number from Western District.
